At Botanik we cut curly hair differently from straight hair. Why? Because it is different. We cut hair in its naturally curly state, which is dry!!!!!! We analyze the curl, we don’t pull it straight, iron it, wet it, or treat it anything like straight hair.

It takes one to know one, Tania has mixed-race curly hair and it changes often. So don’t be scared to get your hair cut anymore. Come on in and talk to another about your lifetime of frightful experiences, we are right there with you.

One of our favourite hair products for curly hair is Natulique Volumizing Mousse for the creamy substance gives the hair a less crunchy feel than old school mousse. It also smells wonderful and feels luxurious to use. Our Volume Shape Hair Mousse provides you with maximum manageability and creativity by actively promoting gorgeous curls and waves.

Hydrolyzed Silk Protein forms a crystalline protective barrier on strands, improving elasticity and resiliency while increasing shine. Added Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein penetrates and hydrates hair shafts better than any other protein. Great for porous or damaged hair and split ends.

Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) has the unique ability to deeply penetrate the hair while adding layers of structure to the independent hair strands, helping to enhance resilience and strength.

Instructions for use: Shake well before use. Apply where extra volume is required, near hair roots and/or through- out the length of the hair. To create curls and waves, apply the mousse to towel-dried hair and allow to air-dry while using your fingers to shape the curls and waves.
